2009 TPRA Fly and Picnic

This year's annual TPRA picnic will be held on June 6, 2009 at the Wallace City Park located at 1425 N. Hwy 77/81 in Hillsboro, Texas 76645  (see map). We will start gathering at the covered pavilion at the park around 9:00 a.m.

The TPRA will provide fried chicken, potato salad, bread, and paper and plastic ware. We ask if you can to bring a side dish or a desert and or water, soft drinks, tea, etc. You may be contacted to bring some of these items to assure we have enough for everyone, otherwise be sure to bring yourself.

The picnic will be at the covered pavilion area at the park that has picnic tables, bath room facilities and some outside grills. The TPRA has reserved this covered pavilion with a contract with the City of Hillsboro and the consumption of alcohol is prohibited. You are encouraged to bring folding lawn chairs and tables if you can. There is no shade available, other than the pavilion itself, so it would be wise to wear a cap and sun screen.

We are going to have a picnic, awards presentation, bird auction, raffle of pigeon items, lawn show and a TPRA financial report to the board of directors.
